Formation in the Faith

At Saint John the Baptist, we offer children's religious education class on Sunday mornings.

Our Parish Religious Education

Saint John the Baptist is a vibrant and welcoming community of faith and we are committed to evangelization.

At Saint John the Baptist, we believe that religious education is an essential part of being a Catholic. It is through learning about our faith that we are able to grow in our relationship with God and to live our lives in a way that is faithful to the Gospel. We are committed to providing our parishioners with the resources and support they need to grow in their faith, and we invite you to join us on this journey of faith.

One of the key ways we do this is through our religious education program, which offers classes for children from pre-K through 8th grade. Our religious education program is designed to help children learn about the Catholic faith, build a strong faith foundation, and to grow in their relationship with God. Classes are taught by a team of dedicated and caring volunteer catechists who are committed to helping children grow in their faith.

St. John the Baptist does not currently have a Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) program; however, adults wishing to learn more about the Catholic faith can reach out to our parish office for a referral to a local RCIA Coordinator.
